Liverpool have many players out on loan this season, with quite a few having already returned this January.

Perhaps one of the Reds’ brightest talents currently on loan is 21-year-old Tyler Morton.

The academy graduate is currently enjoying a productive spell with Hull City in the Championship.

His performances for the Tigers even earned him a debut for the England U21s in the most recent international break.

Morton has already managed 20 appearances under manager Liam Rosenior.

He’s managed a good return of 2 goals and 3 assists – or one goal contribution every 5 games.

Not bad for a defensive midfielder.

Tyler Morton’s red card

Tyler Morton was sent off by referee Darren Bond in the 35th minute during Hull City’s clash with Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday evening.

His challenge on Djeidi Gassama was seen as too strong.

The Liverpool man was given a straight red card.

Hull would end up losing the tie 3-1.

Understandably, manager Liam Rosenior not happy with the on-field decision.

After lodging an appeal against the FA, the foul was reviewed by a three-person panel.

The decision has now been overturned according to Hull Live.

Tyler Morton will now not serve a three-game ban for his dismissal.

It comes as good news for all parties as Morton can continue his fine vein of form while the Tigers are allowed to field a key player.

Tyler Morton and Hull City are next in action against Birmingham City this Saturday.
