Roberto Firmino has not enjoyed his best season out with Al-Ahli.

His spell in Saudi Arabia initially started brightly, even managing to score a hattrick on his debut for his new team.

However, the situation has deteriorated for the 32-year-old, and he could now find himself leaving Al-Ahli in the January transfer window.

It is believed that the former Liverpool man is ‘frustrated’ by Al Ahli’s system and has not scored in more than 16 games for the Saudi outfit.

He is now reportedly keen on moving to pastures anew after a short few months with Al-Ahli.

There are believed to be more than few Premier League clubs keen on bringing the Anfield favourite back to England’s top flight.

Who is interested in Roberto Firmino?

Transfer journalist Graeme Bailey, for HITC, has reported that numerous Premier League sides would be keen on the Brazilian if here to be made available.

Fulham have been named alongside both Crystal Palace and West Ham United.

The Cottagers lost star man Aleksandar Mitrovic to Saudi Arabia, with Firmino being able to plug that gap perfectly.

The London club made £46 million off of the sale of Mitrovic over the summer, so they may be able to fund a move for the Brazilian.

Elsewhere, Sheffield United could reignite their interest in Firmino.

However, it’s believed the Blades’ interest can be traced back to previous manager Paul Heckingbottom.

It remains to be seen whether any of the aforementioned clubs will make a move for the 31-year-old in Janaury.

It will no doubt be a bittersweet moment to see Roberto Firmino play for another club in England that’s not Liverpool.
