Jarrod Bowen has recently raved about one Liverpool man.
The West Ham man himself has enjoyed a fine season under David Moyes.
The 27-year-old has managed 13 goals and 5 assists in 25 appearances so far.
He also scored a dramatic late winner against Fiorentina in last season’s UEFA Conference League final.
Liverpool have been previously linked with Bowen, with some reports claiming that some at Anfield ‘admire’ his playstyle and goal-scoring abilities.
Jarrod Bowen operates in the same area and niche as Mohamed Salah.
He cuts in off the right as left-footer whilst scoring plenty of goals for the Hammers.
Now Jarrod Bowen has heaped praise on Mohamed Salah.
The England international has lauded Liverpool’s talisman by hailing him the best winger in Premier League history:
“Salah. He’s a joke isn’t he? He’s the benchmark.”
The Egyptian is certainly the benchmark for all Premier League wingers in this day and age.
He has changed the way wingers are viewed in England’s top flight.
Coming from the right, Mohamed Salah has managed 204 and 88 assists in 332 Liverpool appearances.
Those kinds of numbers were unheard of coming from the wing before the Egyptian arrived at Anfield.
Jarrod Bowen has been tentatively linked with a move to Anfield, but he recently signed a long-term contract that tied him down at the London Stadium until 2030.
