Liverpool will travel to London to face Arsenal in the third-round of the FA Cup on Sunday evening.

It will likely be a tense affair considering the two sides have already met once this season – a 1-1 stalemate at Anfield in the Premier League.

While the Premier League is no doubt the main objective for the Reds this year, the FA Cup is a trophy that the Reds have a good chance of winning.

However, Mikel Arteta’s men will be hungry for a win after losing two consecutive Premier League games.

Mikel Arteta will likely opt for his best eleven on Sunday.

Arsenal will only play Crystal Palace on January 20 after the Liverpool clash this weekend, leaving plenty of time to recover.

Indeed, Liverpool have had a lengthy break, having last been in action during their 4-2 win against Newcastle United on New Years Day.

Jurgen Klopp hinted in his pre-game press conference that he could field a very strong side:

“Not sure if Arsenal is a game to rotate.”

“I don’t know if we have the opportunity to do so, we don’t have the biggest squad available.”

“We have six days between games. That’s long. There’s no need for rotation.”

Between injuries and those on duty with their countries, Jurgen Klopp will have many unavailable players to contend with heading into this weekend.

The reported prize money for progression from the FA Cup third-round has also been made available.

Our predicted XI:

Alisson, Gomez, van Dijk (C), Konate, Alexander-Arnold, Mac Allister, Jones, Gravenberch, Nunez, Gakpo, Jota
