Jurgen Klopp has been one of the greatest managers in Liverpool’s history as he has had so much success since joining the club in 2015.

However he won’t be in charge of the club forever unfortunately for Liverpool supporters.

The German manager has a contract until 2026 as he has signed an extension once before.

At the moment it has not been reported that talks have began about more contract negotiations so the club will have to plan for life without him.

One of the managers that have been linked with a move to Liverpool has been Xabi Alonso.

The former Liverpool midfielder started his first managerial job in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen and he is doing extremely well.

Leverkusen currently sit top of the league and are through to the Europa League round of 16 so Alonso has had plenty of plaudits.

Due to the fact he played for Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich the rumours have already began about him taking over at those clubs.

Bayern Munich are going to make their move for Xabi Alonso

According to a recent report Bayern Munich are going to jump ahead of the queue and make their move for the Spaniard.

The club hired Thomas Tuchel only last season but he has been under pressure due to the fact Bayern are not top of the table and have been knocked out of the DFB Pokal.

So the German giants are apparently weighing up a move for him but they are going to allow Tuchel have his reign before doing so.

Bayern want to take advantage of the fact Real Madrid have given Carlo Ancelotti a new contract so therefore they won’t be making a move for him soon.

This seems like it will also be the case for Liverpool as they won’t be moving for Alonso within the next year.

Alonso also enjoys the prospect of carrying on in the Bundesliga after his first season in Germany.
