Daniel Farke’s Leeds United are very keen on signing Liverpool man Fabio Carvalho this January window.
This is according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, who has named a few clubs that could be in for the 21-year-old.
The Italian transfer guru reports that Leeds, alongside Southhampton and Hull City, are all pushing to sign Carvalho.
Leeds United are currently 4th in the Championship, and will look for promotion after suffering relegation in the 2022/23 season.
Would Leeds United be the best option?
At this junction, it is clear that Liverpool need Carvalho getting regular playtime.
His loan at RB Leipzig did not pan out as expected, with the 21-year-old now at risk of his career stagnating.
Crysencio Summerville and Daniel James have been performing well out on the wings for Leeds this season.
Meanwhile Joel Piroe as been operating as the number 10 this season.
Therefore, it could be hard for Carvalho to force his way into Daniel Farke’s plans.
Carvalho’s other options
Southampton and Hull City have also been named as the most interested parties.
In my view, Hull City would be the best option for a short-term loan until the end of the season.
Fabio Carvalho will be able to join a fellow Liverpool loanee in Tyler Morton.
The Tigers have already shown they can take care of Liverpool players, as Morton has seen plenty of game time.
Furthermore, Hull City are seventh, meaning Carvalho could perhaps spur them on into a late promotion bid.
Hopefully things can move quickly for the former Fulham man, as he still has long-term aims with Liverpool.
