Michael Olise is a player that has tentatively linked with a switch to Anfield.

This season, he has been used predominantly as a right-sided forward cutting in on his favoured left foot.

He has scored five goals and registered one assist in nine Premier League games.

Olise is currently being monitored by several Premier League clubs including Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool ahead of a possible move at the end of the season.

He was in talks over a £35million move to Chelsea in the previous summer transfer window.

However, he opted to stay at Crystal Palace and extend his contract there.

His new release is believed to be worth in excess of £40million.

However, journalist Dean Jones, speaking to Give Me Sport, has suggested that the player himself could prefer a move to Anfield.

“Jurgen Klopp is about as good as it gets to a guarantee of joining a club and everything staying stable,” Jones began via TEAMtalk.

“So I think it definitely would be a good fit.”

“I think for him, that level of club would be a dream for sure.”

“What I’m interested by is how long he actually feels he needs to remain at Crystal Palace.”

“Because he is still building himself a profile and a personality within this league.”

“It’ll be interesting if he thinks he can go and make that step up in the next six months or whether he gives it another full season at Palace next season.”

It would then seem that Jurgen Klopp could be a big motivating factor for Olise to join the Reds.

In addition, Manchester United are in a period of upheaveal regarding their ownership model.

Therefore, with how the two clubs are performing off the pitch, it seems Liverpool is the obvious choice for Michael Olise.
