Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Fabio Carvalho has signed his contract as a new Hull City player.
The Tigers were expected to secure the loan signing, but now it is all but official.
Taking to X, the Fabrizio Romano reported:
“Fábio Carvalho has just signed his contract as new Hull City player as loan deal from Liverpool has been sealed.”
“All done, Carvalho set to play on Friday his first game as Hull City new signing.”
The 21-year-old will link-up with another Red in Tyler Morton at the MKM Stadium.
Morton has already been granted over 20 appearances this term by manager Liam Rosenior.
Therefore, there will be minutes for Carvalho if he proves he is deserving of them.
The Tigers are currently 6th in the Championship and will hold hopes of making the promotion play-offs at the end of the season.
Fabio Carvalho will hopefully be able to play a major part in that goal during the second-half of the campaign.
Hull City owner Acun Ilicali also confirmed that the loan deal was all but officially announced, saying to Sky Sports:
“We agreed all terms with him. I’m very happy to say he’s going to wear the Hull shirt.”
“It’s almost done. The announcement has to be done, that’s all. The club will do it,” Ilicali said.
“So many clubs wanted him and he chose us. It’s because of the way we are playing the game.”
“Liam Rosenior has a big effect on that, playing nice football.”
“He wants to go to a place where he will enjoy football. Hull is the best place for him to improve his talents.
“We are a fantastic club with fantastic players and a fantastic coach. Everything is so good here.”
