The first game of pre-season saw them lose 1-0 to Preston behind closed doors, in Kirkby.

But they went on to win against Real Betis and Arsenal, both with one goal separating the sides. with the latter holding at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

These fixtures have seen new manager Arne Slot try out new tactics and youngsters on the field.

The players have also gone on to impress.

The team were initially expected to round up her pre-season campaign on the 11th of August when they face Sevilla at a ticketed game at Anfield.

However, news spread earlier that the club were looking at adding another pre-season friendly to their calendar.

This has now been confirmed to take place.

James Pearce has tweeted to confirm that the Reds will play Las Palmas behind closed doors on the 11th of August, just after the Sevilla game.

The match will kick off at 5pm, but it will not be open to supporters due to operational reasons.

Fans can follow through as the match will be shown live on LFCTV GO.
