A video showing six senior players returning to Liverpool training has surfaced on Liverpoolfc.com.

In preparation for the upcoming season, the players have returned to get a chance to bond with the rest of the team and the new manager, Arne Slot.

This will be a plus for the Reds as the availability of more senior players will give Arne Slot more to work with in pre-season and when the regular season starts.

In the clip, the players were seen exchanging pleasantries with the staff at the AXA training centre.

It showed Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil Van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, and Joe Gomez who represented their respective nations at UEFA Euro 2024.

It also includes Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez who both represented Columbia and Uruguay respectively at CONMEBOL Copa America 2024.

Their return is in time to join the rest of the team during preparations for the team’s remaining pre-season fixtures as well as the beginning of the English Premier League season.

Which player hasn’t returned yet?

Only one player hasn’t joined the rest of the team at the AXA training centre.

It’s Brazilian international, Alisson Becker.

The shot-stopper has not yet returned from the break after his stint with the national team at Copa America.

He is expected to join the rest of the Reds before the new season kicks off.
