Liverpool legend Sadio Mane and Manchester City star Erling Haaland were seen exchanging some pleasantries recently.
The Senegal international was beloved at Anfield and spent 6 trophy-laden years in Merseyside.
The Senegalese forward scored 120 goals in 269 games during his stay at the club and was influential to some of Liverpool’s most successful seasons.
A determined and tenacious winger off the ball, Mane was technical and skillful while in possession.
He terrorised Premier League defences for many years.
Mane formed part of one of the most famous trios in modern football history in the form of himself, Roberto Firmino, and Mohamed Salah.
But it seems that the video was captured awhile ago as the Norwegian is currently with the Manchester City squad after enjoying a lengthy summer break.
Norway did not qualify for Euro 2024, so a rested up Haaland is not exactly great news for Liverpool and the rest of the league.
When the two met in preseason, they struck up a conversation in which Mane confirmed that he is “content” with his life in Saudi Arabia.
The Senegal international even confirmed that his season would be starting with the Saudi Super Cup semi-final against Al-Taawoun next week Wednesday.
Sadio Mane purchased a new club in October of 2023, Bourges Foot 18, a club in the fourth tier of the French league system.
The former Liverpool man has dreams of taking the club from the Championnat National 2 to Ligue 1 in the coming years.
But for now, you can watch the video of Mane and Haaland’s interaction below…
