Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas is reportedly set to sign a new deal at Anfield before departing for the Championship on loan this summer.
The 19-year-old is already popular with the club fans having starred for the Reds last season during their run to the FA Cup semi-final last season.
The Welshman made his first team debut in the 2023-24 season, and promptly netted at the Anfield Road end during the FA Cup win over Southampton last season.
He also picked up his first medal as was an unused substitute during the Carabao Cup final win over Chelsea at Wembley.
Including his strike for the first team, Koumas netted 17 goals across all levels during 2023-24.

Although the highly-rated Welshman signed his first professional contract with the Liverpool in January last, according to latest reports he is set to sign a new deal ahead of a loan move to the second tier of English football.
According to Mailsport reporter, Lewis Steele, Liverpool want to reward the teenager with a new imported deal before sending him on loan this summer.
The English Championship is his likeliest destination this summer, with a number of clubs in the lower division interested in his services.
Lewis, who is the son of former Tranmere star Jason Koumas, can play as a winger and attacking midfielder.
He was part of the Liverpool team that flee to the United States last month, and featured for Arne Slot’s side during the pre-season tour alongside fellow youngsters Ben Doak, Tyler Morton, and Harvey Blair.
However, on return to Liverpool, Koumas and his fellow youngsters have returned to the youth team set-up, where they recently faced Ipswich in a 5-2 win wit the U-21s.
