There have been a number of surprising decisions made by Liverpool Football Club this week.
New head coach Arne Slot is trimming his squad ahead of the new campaign.
Liverpool face Ipswich Town at Portman Road this upcoming Saturday. A familiar lunch time kick-off awaits.
We have exclusively revealed numerous players are available for sale or loan.
This site has exclusively revealed that Stefan Bajcetic has been told he can leave on loan.
We also exclusively reported that Bobby Clark is close to agreeing a deal to RB Salzburg and that young attacker Kaide Gordon is close to a loan move to Swansea City.
Gordon is expected to finalise his loan in the coming days while Salzburg remained locked in talks for their number one target Clark.
It’s been a busy few days.
Ben Doak future determined
We can now exclusively reveal that Liverpool are open to loaning Ben Doak with the option of a permanent sale at the end of the loan, should the offer be attractive enough.
It is believed that Liverpool may be open to an outright sale this summer should the right offer come in.
The youngster is currently training with the under-21 squad.
Even though he’s just 18, Doak was unlucky not to play any part in UEFA Euro 2024 for Scotland due to injury.
Ben Doak was signed from Celtic in 2022 for a reported fee of £600,000.
He played 25 minutes against Manchester United in South Carolina during the recent US pre-season tour.
Doak has made three Premier League appearances for Liverpool so far but the Scottish international was regarded as one of the finest up and coming talents in the club.
It will be interesting to watch how this situation develops in the remaining few days of the summer transfer window.
