Elliott – 6

It’s not easy (or even fair tbh) to be asked to fill in the big shoes of Mo Salah.

It’s especially difficult when doing it away to a big club like Arsenal.

Didn’t really do enough to justify a rating more than 6 and seemed to slow down as the game wore on (probably due to a lack of real first team minutes recently).

Will hope to retain his spot in the first team to build on this performance and improve with more starting minutes under his belt.

Nunez – 6

Another hit and miss game.

Could have scored with a header from a corner and his pace/movement upfront caused the Arsenal defence a few problems.

But again it didn’t seem to click for him as the main centre forward as he seemed to snatch at a couple of opportunities.

Moved to the left in the second and looked more dangerous. Maybe that’s a position that Klopp will try him in to see if that helps unleash his undoubted potential.

Diaz – 8

Liverpool’s most dangerous attacker – even if you don’t consider his goal.

Ran all over the frontline and seemed to drag Arsenal defenders with him.

His pace is clearly back to his electric best and scored the second goal to give his performance the reward it deserved.
