CONFIRMED: Liverpool lineup vs Arsenal

Jurgen Klopp has named a strong starting XI to face Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has named his starting XI to face Arsenal in today’s FA Cup third round at the Emirates Stadium.

The Reds will be seeking to ensure their name is in the hat for the next stage as they look to beat the Gunners, having been held to a 1-1 draw by Mikel Arteta’s side just 15 days in the Premier League.

The Merseysiders are already well-placed for potential success in the Europa League and Carabao Cup and will be looking to achieve success in the FA Cup.

Wataru Endo and Mohamed Salah have departed for international duty and Dominik Szoboszlai is nursing a hamstring injury sustained during the 4-2 win over Newcastle United last Monday.

Klopp will continue to be without the services of Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic, Ben Doak, Joel Matip, Andy Robertson, and Kostas Tsimikas who are all long-term absentees.

Klopp has selected: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Quansah, Gomez; Jones, Mac Allister, Elliott; Gakpo, Nunez Diaz.

Subs: Kelleher, Jota, Gravenberch, Clark, Chambers, Gordon, McConnell, Bradley, Nyoni.
