Fabio Carvalho did not have the most productive loan spells at RB Leipzig.
His lack of game time under manager Marco Rose meant that Liverpool were left with no choice but to recall.
There was hope that a loan for Fabio Carvalho would revive his Liverpool career after a season’s experience in Germany.
However, he is now back at Anfield and will likely be sent out on loan once again.
What was said about Fabio Carvalho?
Now journalist Dean Jones, speaking to Give Me Sport, has claimed that the Carvalho is willing to prove himself next season:
“I’m told there are already four or five clubs knocking on the door [for Carvalho on loan], and more are expected to do so in the next week or so,” Jones began.
“Liverpool are having conversations with Carvalho about exactly what they are looking to get out of the rest of this season and, beyond that, what the plan will be longer-term.”
“Carvalho wants to hear how he will get into the Liverpool picture because he wants to be in that squad for next season.”
“You hear about how they might build the squad long-term.”
“If Mohamed Salah ends up leaving, that could open up space within the Liverpool set-up.”
It seems that many clubs are interested in the services of the Liverpool man, but he and the club will have to choose wisely.
The last thing both parties will want is a repeat of his loan spell at RB Leipzig.
What’s clear is that Fabio Carvalho needs to get back to playing regular football sooner rather than later.
