Fabio Carvalho is set to join Championship side Hull City according to Fabrizio Romano.
There was talk of Leeds United and Southampton being keen on the youngster, but the Tigers are now in place to land Carvalho.
He will link-up with fellow Liverpool man Tyler Morton under manager Liam Rosenior.
Fabrizio Romano writes on X:
“Fábio Carvalho has received now the green light from Liverpool to travel and undergo medical tests at Hull City.”
“Done deal on loan until June, there’s no option to buy.”
“Here we go.”
Hopefully Carvalho can get some much need game-time with the Championship side.
The Tigers have already shown they can take care of Liverpool players, as Morton has seen plenty of game time.
Tyler Morton has already made over 20 appearances for Hull this season, so Carvalho needs to show he is deserving of that kind of game time as well.
Furthermore, Hull City are seventh, meaning Carvalho could perhaps spur them on into a late promotion bid.
Hopefully things can move quickly for the former Fulham man, as he still has long-term aims with Liverpool.
There may be a relationship now developing between Hull City and Liverpool in light of these two loan deals.
The Reds have already shown a willingness to send many players out on loan this season.
Perhaps we may see a few more Liverpool men head to the MKM Stadium in the future.
