Martin Zubimendi – is he coming to Liverpool?
In an exclusive interview we conducted with Real Sociedad reporter Mikel Recalde yesterday, it seems like it’s going to happen.
But there’s no guarantees of that yet.
Zubimendi has been included in Real Sociedad’s squad for their pre-season fixture against Union Berlin tonight in Germany.
LFC fans will likely be trying to find a place to watch the match and see the player in action.
They will also be praying that he doesn’t get himself injured.
But a Liverpool fan has actually managed to speak to the Spanish midfielder and even asked him if he’s coming to Liverpool.
Twitter / X user @Baybars_lfc has shared an image of himself with Zubimendi who he happened to bump into in Berlin.
Taking the opportunity to get more than a photo, the Liverpool fan asked the player if he’s going to making the move to Anfield.
In response, the player apparently just smiled.
So he didn’t say yes and he didn’t say no.
But usually, players who are not planning on moving are quite open about it.
This small but interesting conversation will give LFC fans some hope that Martin Zubimendi is going to be moving to England soon.
