Talking to talkSPORT’s Weekend Breakfast show, the proud Liverpudlian, who has long been inspired by her hometown football club Liverpool FC, pointed out two special people who have influenced her in her life and career as an athlete in one way or the other.

She mentioned British athletics legends Denise Lewis, and former Reds manager, Jurgen Klopp.

KJT, speaking about Klopp and how he inspired her, said, “Liverpool – I always draw inspiration from.

“I was very sad to see Klopp leave because I feel like he is the master motivator and Liverpool instilled that sort of never give up, come back sort of underdog mentality that I’ve got.

“So I’m very excited to see how the club get on next season.”

KJT also spoke on the show about how Denise Lewis has been supportive throughout her journey.

With a personal best at the Paris 2024 Olympics, she sure had quite a rewarding spell.
