The Reds could yet dip into the Championship for any additions to their forward line this January.

Liverpool’s interest in Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise has now already been established.

There is now one player from England’s second-flight that has reportedly piqued Liverpool’s interest.

Writing for Football Transfers, journalist Jacque Talbot has claimed:

“Looking ahead to the summer, Liverpool’s interest extends beyond Olise, we have learned they are also eyeing Leeds attacker Crysencio Summerville, though it’s not clear whether the side will purchase both.”

“The two players are set to part ways with their current clubs in the upcoming transfer window amid their spellbinding form this campaign.”

Summerville has certainly caught attention for Leeds United under boss Daniel Fark.

The winger has managed 18 goals in 24 games, which is very productive numbers coming off the flank.

The 22-year-old has also racked up 8 appearances for the Netherlands U21, netting on two occasions during that time.

Could Liverpool dip into the Championship for another attacker?

The Reds have plenty of options in the offensive areas.

Mohamed Salah is the only player to nail-down a spot in Liverpool’s three-prong attack, making the right-wing position his own.

The likes of Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, Cody Gakpo, and Luis Diaz are left to jostle with the remaining two positions.

Furthermore, there are many other positions that the Anfield club should prioritise over, such as the defense and midfield.

While Jarell Quansah has proved a surprise package this season, there is still a believe that a centre-back addition would be beneficial.

Nonetheless, it seems that Crysencio Summerville has an eye for goal and could end up being a shrewd signing.

His market value has been appraised at 18 million euros by transfermarkt.
