Liverpool have been one of the best-attacking forces in Europe so far this season with Mo Salah being at the heart of everything.

The Egyptian has scored 18 goals whilst getting nine assists in 27 games but now he is off to AFCON with his nation.

So The Reds will have to rely on their other attackers with all four available to Jurgen Klopp.

Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo will be the four battling it out for the front three spots with the FA Cup game against Arsenal being their first chance to show what they have got without Salah.

Klopp will need them to step up in Salah’s absence but Liverpool have been linked to a winger in this January transfer window who could be seen as a good replacement for the 31-year-old.

Liverpool are watching Michael Olise

Crystal Palace have not had the greatest of seasons so far under former Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson as The Eagles sit in the bottom half of the table just six points off the relegation zone.

Their biggest bright spark so far has been Michael Olise on the right wing as he has been exceptional when fit.

According to a recent report Liverpool are closely watching Olise alongside rivals Chelsea and Manchester City.

As a left footed right winger on paper the 22-year-old is like Salah on paper so if Liverpool wanted a like for like future replacement he would be a sensical option.

The report stated that he is expected to leave Palace in the summer for a big fee and that these three Premier League giants could battle it out for him.

Chelsea came very close to signing him last year as they activated his release clause but the deal didn’t get over the line.

He will not be sold in January though as he will be vital for Crystal Palace as they look to fight off relegation.

So far this campaign he has played nine games scoring five goals whilst getting one assist as he has had some injury issues.
