Exclusive: Three Liverpool youngsters return to u21 set up as Trey Nyoni continues with senior side

We can exclusively reveal that up and coming star Trey Nyoni will also continue training with the senior side.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot has trimmed his senior training squad with the Premier League season around the corner.

The Reds face Ipswich Town on August 17th.

We can exclusively reveal that Ben Doak, James McConnell, and Kaide Gordon have been reintroduced to the U21 dressing room.

Each of the three will now begin training in the U21 dressing room. Up and coming star, Trey Nyoni, will also begin training in the U21 dressing room but he will continue training with the senior side. He scored in Liverpool’s 4-1 victory against Sevilla today.

We have exclusively revealed that Ben Doak will be allowed to leave the club on loan with a permanent option to buy. We have also revealed that Kaide Gordon is close to agreeing a deal to join Swansea City on loan.

The Scottish international was one of the most exciting prospects to emerge from the youth academy under Jurgen Klopp’s tenure. It seems that he hasn’t done enough to convince Arne Slot that he should be part of his squad – but it seems Trey Nyoni is now knocking on the door.

The new Liverpool boss confirmed his plans to trim his squad after the US tour.

“If you are counting all the youngsters on the tour then there are many, but a few of them will go back to the under-21s or under-18s so I don’t think we have too many.”

We can confirm that Doak, McConnell and Gordon are three of those players. Each of the three are set to begin training in the U21 dressing room.

Stefan Bajcetic continues to train with the senior side.

Tyler Morton will continue with the senior side but he is open to a move away. Morton has been linked to a move to RB Leipzig. After an impressive loan spell at Hull City, he will have no shortage of suitors.

Bobby Clark exclusive after Trey Nyoni update

We exclusively revealed here first that Bobby Clark is set to join RB Salzburg. Both clubs agreed a fee yesterday in an €11.65M move. Clark is now discussing personal terms ahead of the proposed move.
