Liverpool and Arsenal will face off against each other for the second time this season.
The spoils were shared when the two sides met in the Premier League at Anfield during late December.
However, this time it is at Emirates with a spot in the fourth round of the FA Cup up for grabs.
Liverpool are already through to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, so they will want to pick up momentum with a win in London this weekend.
It was previously reported this week that Arsenal would be donning all white kits against Liverpool instead of their usual red home colors.
It is a part of the club’s campaign against knife crime and youth danger, with the usual home kit ‘drained of red’ as a way of raising awareness.
Arsenal has been wearing a “No More Red” shirt for three years running, but this is the first time they have done so during a home game.
Now Liverpool are showing their support for the project by not wearing their usual colors.
Conor Humm from the AFC Newsroom as reported that Liverpool will wear their third kit to support Arsenal’s initiative – “No More Red”
Many thought that Liverpool would wear their home kit to easily distinguish between the two sides.
However, the Anfield club has shown its class by choosing not to wear any form of red colour to support the “No More Red” initiative.
Sunday’s game promises to be an entertaining and high-quality affair, especially after Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat to the Gunners last term.
In other news, Jurgen Klopp has provided an update on Dominik Szoboszlai’s hamstring injury.
