Fabio Carvalho is expected to leave on loan this January transfer window after returning from RB Leipzig earlier this month.

There was hope that a season’s experience in the Bundesliga would reignite his Liverpool career.

However, it did not pan out like that in Germany, and he is now looking for a loan until the end of the season.

Sky Sports now report that Hull City have taken the lead in the race to sign the 21-year-old Liverpool man.

Although nothing is certain or official, things could progress rapidly this week.

Carvalho will join fellow Liverpool man Tyler Morton at The Tigers if his move materializes.

Tyler Morton has been granted many minutes by Hull boss Liam Rosenior.

Morton has already made over 20 appearances for the Championship side and has shown great form this term.

Perhaps Liverpool are willing to trust Hull with Fabio Carvalho after seeing how well they have utilized Morton.

The Tigers are currently 6th in the Championship and are looking for a late promotion bid as the season wears on.

Leeds United, Southampton, and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly still keen on securing the services of the former Fulham man.

However, Liverpool want assurances over Carvalho’s gametime in an attempt to avoid the same situation that occurred at RB Leipzig.
